A dice game for two or more players.

Mitchi

You are never trying to roll the best hand. You are trying not to be left with the worst.

Whoever ends the round with the worst hand takes the points, and points are bad: the lowest score wins.

You need: two dice, a pen, something to write on, and at least one other player.

Mitchi in 60 seconds

  1. Everyone rolls one die. The highest roll starts.
  2. The starting player rolls both dice and may roll up to three times. The number of rolls they use is the roll limit for everyone else that round.
  3. Everyone else rolls in turn, up to that limit. You only need to beat the worst hand so far, the lowest-ranked hand rolled this round. You never need the best.
  4. The best hand is a Mitchi, a 2 and a 1. Then doubles, then six-high, five-high, four-high, three-high. The worst hand in the game is three-one.
  5. Whoever is left with the worst hand takes the pot: 1 point, or 2 points for every Mitchi rolled that round.
  6. First player to 25 points ends the game. Fewest points wins.
